I have become the first EVER black pilot to join the R.F.C!<\/p>\n<p>One day I was taking photos over the Ypres front<\/p>\n<p>Looking for a nice place to give Fritz a couple of pills.<\/p>\n<p>We were so taken up looking for a target<\/p>\n<p>We forgot to look out for enemy scouts.<\/p>\n<p>Rat-a-tat-tat, Rat-a-tat-tat, Rat-a-tat-tat, Rat-a-tat-tat, (Year 6)<\/p>\n<p>Bang Here (clap) Bang There (clap) Bang ev\u2019ry where. (Year 5)<\/p>\n<p>Rat-a-tat-tat, Rat-a-tat-tat, Rat-a-tat-tat,<\/p>\n<p>I was hit at the start of the scrap<\/p>\n<p>Rat-a-tat-tat, Rat-a-tat-tat, Rat-a-tat-tat,<\/p>\n<p>The machine was riddled but I survived!<\/p>\n<p>The air is penetratingly cold, inexplicably cold, unbelievably cold!<\/p>\n<p>It is below freezing and I can\u2019t wait to come home to the crispy, warm fireplace.<\/p>\n<p>My hands shiver, and I can see my breath.<\/p>\n<p>The stench is objectional \u2013 vomit, diarrhoea, mud.<\/p>\n<p>Thinking of you gets me through ev\u2019ry single day.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s the only thing that makes me smile.<\/p>\n<p>Yours,<\/p>\n<p>William Robinson Clarke<\/p>\n<p>Your Robbie.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<div class=\"testimonial-container no-image pexeto-parallax\"><div class=\"testimonial-info\"><div class=\"testimonials-details\"><h2><\/h2><span><\/span><\/div><\/div><blockquote><p>I learned so much about World War 1 that I never knew happened. The children were extremely keen to receive back their music.
