CYMH Green – Minors – Saturday 27 June 2020

Hello Minors!

We are hoping to make a video of the Minors playing our version of Ode To Joy as inspired by The Piano Guys’ version. With this in mind, if you a percussion player then use Matt’s videos to learn the appropriate part, otherwise you should be practising the previously covered bass and chord parts (played by Dan on the videos and recorded in the audio tracks below). Playing along with Matt’s new percussion/drum videos will be great practise. If you’re feeling confident you can also record yourself (video) playing your parts by using the videos as a reference (listen on headphones while you play). Otherwise, we will go into more depth next week about how to record your playing.

Also have a go at learning the melody for Ode to Joy by ear from the Piano Guys link on YouTube. Good luck!

– Dan
